When You Don't Want to Get Drunk...
What do people do around here for nightlife when they do not want to get drunk and rubbed up against by strangers?
I'm too old for that, but too young to stay home.
I go out most weekends, but rarely to the bar. The Bozeman Symphony is great, or the Icedogs can be fun. I also like going to movies, if you haven't been to the Ellen theater yet it's a must.

You could also look into Comedy Club. They use to have it in the Baxter Hotel on Wednesday nights (there is drinking and there use to be smoking, but I haven't been in awhile... of course YOU DON'T HAVE TO participate in the drinking or smoking part), but there are usually some pretty decent comedians lined up.
There is also something called Music On Main during the summer months, where various bands play outside downtown.
If you are into racing, you can go to the Stock Car races out in Belgrade every Friday night from Memorial Day weekend until the 2nd weekend in September.
Just thought I'd throw a few ideas out there for you to think about.

I am sure there will be alcholics at all of those events; comedy night, stock car races, and music on main.

Go live by yourself.
If you want to live with people go and be alone with them. Live with strangers. Or live with Folk.

Drink only one glass of water.
Take deep breaths.
