40 & over & SINGLE what do you do in Bozeman?
Moving back home after many years away...wondering if there are any NEW groups or hang-outs for 40 & over somethings?
Must not be anything out there for us!
I stay home. Visit family. Friends like seeing each other at the bars, gets old fast!

Find your connection in the woods: biking, hiking, sking, climbing, hunting, fishing,
etc. Do it alot they are not just for as you know from living here before. The single scene can be as brutal as brutal can be.

I don't live in Bozeman but would love to move to Montana. I'm almost 40 and a single woman looking to move to Montana and find that special guy who wants to make a life together. Any ideas on where the men are or how to find them? I know there are some in the state of Montana but are they all just out enjoying being single or enjoying the outdoors with no time for checking the computer for us gals?

I am an over-40 dance instructor who is teaching FREE country dance lessons at Mixers, 515 W. Aspen, (behind Hippos on N. 7th) every Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 8:45. You don't need experience! You don't need a partner! Many people are beginners. I teach line and couples dances, and line dances that can also be done as couple dances. Afterwards, Mixers plays your favorite country music with open dancing - and I almost always stay to enjoy the dancing myself and to help people individually with dance steps if they want. Men and women 21 and over are welcome - oh, and Mixers has a smoke-free dance floor! Call me, Becca, at 586-6731 for more info. A great way to meet people of all ages and backgrounds!

In Bozeman there are a lot of community social events. Events such as the Music on Main, Art Walks, Christmas Stroll, etc. The Emerson Cultural Center and library have a number of events as well.
If you are a business person, the Bozeman Chamber's monthly "Business After Hours" and other events they host might be good.
While none of these events are specifically for singles, I know a number of people that have made new frieds, etc at them.

Should I try to organize a 40 and over social event? Would anyone respond or show up?
